Scotiabank Arena stands as one of North America’s most iconic and versatile entertainment and sports venues. Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, this world-class arena is a landmark destination for music lovers, sports fans, and global audiences. Since its grand opening in 1999, it has become the epicenter of live entertainment in Canada, hosting some of the most legendary concerts, thrilling sports events, and large-scale performances.
Formerly known as the Air Canada Centre (ACC) until 2018, the arena was rebranded to Scotiabank Arena under a $800 million, 20-year naming rights agreement—one of the largest such deals in sports history. It is owned and operated by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), which also owns the arena’s two primary sports tenants: the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL) and the Toronto Raptors (NBA).
