About this Venue

For many years, WMHS has participated in the METG (Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild) High School Play Festival, aka "Fest." There are 96 participating schools this year, and 12 other hosting sites around the state. There are three rounds of competition, which end at State Finals in the John Hancock Theater in Boston the last weekend of March. Last year, we moved on to Semis for the first time ever, so we are excited to compete again this year.

This is now the third year that WMHS is hosting the Preliminary round of the METG competition, which will take place on Saturday, February 28. There are seven other schools joining us for the day, so if you attend, you'll be treated to eight short plays, some of the best that Massachusetts high school theatre can offer.

What are the parking options at Woburn Memorial High School?

Parking is available in Lots A, B, F, G, H & I. Prices range from $5 to $30 depending on the event. Suite & VIP parking there is located on the south side of the building via the 2nd 183A Entrance, past the marquee. All methods of payment are accepted at Woburn Memorial High School for all self-park & valet lots.

Ticket Requirements: For all ticketed events, all Woburn Memorial High School patrons must present a ticket for entry, except for those patrons younger than two (2) years of age. However, children under two years of age must sit on the lap of an accompanying ticket-bearing adult. For some family/kids events ages, one (1) and up must be accompanied by a ticket.

Out of the consideration and safety of performers and fellow patrons, the use of cell phones is strictly forbidden during all shows. This includes the use of phones for texting or photographic purposes. Individuals caught using their cell phones may be asked to leave the theatre.
