Douglas College, which was established in 1970, is the biggest university in British Columbia, Canada, offering degrees to around 25,000 students annually. The College maintains other smaller training facilities in Surrey, Burnaby, and Maple Ridge in addition to its two main campuses in Metro Vancouver, New Westminster and Coquitlam. Douglas is one of the most easily accessible post-secondary institutions in Metro Vancouver, attracting students from all around the region, with both of its main campuses situated right on SkyTrain lines.
